hard drive
Hard drives are a type of storage device that is used for storing and retrieving information from a rotating disc. A hard drive can even retrieve data when it does not have power. The hard drive is also very important for black-outs or retrieving lost information as it can automatically store information.
The hard drive is the most important (and largest) storage device for the computer. It contains the operating system, any installed software and other files. The problem with the hard drive is it is easy to corrupt or damage. If corrupted or damaged there is not much you can do, although, you can choose to pay a costly bill to get your hard drive repaired which is probably not the best idea as you would be better off buying a completely new computer.
