sound cards
A sound card (or audio adapter) allows you to input and output audio from the computer and its programs. Most modern computers have no need for sound cards because audio facilities are already integrated into the computer's motherboard. However, many audio companies rely upon sound cards because they are more powerful and can produce better sound quality. Sound cards almost always contain two main ports. These two main ports are a microphone port and headphone port.
